Staying in shape can be hard work when you’re busy being the leader of the free world, so sometimes you need a little music to get you going.

Serving as a guest editor for the November issue of WIRED magazine,President Obama shared his playlist for staying fit.

Here are the 10 songs he told WIRED he uses to get motivated during a workout.

1. “Let’s Get It Started,” Black Eyed Peas

2. “Sinnerman,” Nina Simone

3. “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” Sting

4. “Live It Up,” the Isley Brothers

5. “Emergency,” Icona Pop

6. “Perro Loco,” Forro in the Dark

7. “Get Me Bodied,” Beyoncé

8. “Off That,” Jay Z, featuring Drake

9.“Could You Be Loved,” Bob Marley and the Wailers

10.“Elevator Operator,” Courtney Barnett

You can listen to the playlist here:

The eclectic mix reflects Obama’s love of classic soul artists and Beyonce as well as rappers like Jay-Z and Drake.

There are also some surprises like Courtney Barnett and Icona Pop, which might not be the first artists who come to mind when imagining Obama scrolling the headlines while on the treadmill.

It also probably helps that he has daughters Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15, to keep him up to speed on new music while cutting down on the embarrassing dad jams.

It’s no surprise that Black Eyed Peas make an appearance considering rapper Will.i.am openly lent his support to Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign, including writing the song “Yes We Can.”
